How to join the library
You can turn up to any Toy Library sessions and become a member.
The joining fees are set out below:

Full Membership as at January 2009 (Prices include GST)
Standard Membership
 $50 per year*
Secondary Membership
 $10 per year
Extra Membership
 $8 per year

Concession Membership
Standard Membership
 $40 per year*
Secondary Membership
 $10 per year
Extra Membership
 $8 per year

If your first child is under 12 months at the time of joining then your first month is FREE!

 *Fundraising Levy
Our membership fee covers operational expenses such as rent, insurance, office supplies, postage etc plus a fundraising component in lieu of extra fundraising activities during the year. New toys are purchased with this component of the membership fee.

Toy entitlement
Standard membership entitles you to borrow three toys per fortnight. Puzzles, games and cassettes count as half a toy. For example a child may borrow:
- 2 toys and 2 puzzles
- 2 toys and 2 cassettes
- 2 toys, 1 cassette and 1 puzzle

If you purchase an additional secondary membership then your entitlement doubles each borrowing session.

Communication
A newsletter is produced each term to notify you of new toys, rules and regulations, fundraising and other toy library information.

Committee meeting are held once a term. All members are invited and encouraged to attend meetings. Please let a committee member know if you have any comments or suggestions about the toy library (eg. what new toys are needed).
